A big figure in secular politics is joining us for our big virtual summit!

Each year, Secular AZ hosts the Secular Summit — a chance for members statewide to meet, learn, and strategize for the next legislative session.

We are ecstatic to announce that this year's event will feature a keynote address from Congressman Jamie Raskin: chair of the Subcommittee on Civil Rights and Civil Liberties, co-chair/co-founder of the Congressional Freethought Caucus, and lead manager for the second impeachment of President Donald Trump!

We will also report on how we’ve been fighting for your rights this year; recognize outstanding secular activists and leaders; and discuss what we can look forward to in 2022.

December 11th
11:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Via Zoom

This is a free event for members only. (Affordable memberships are available here.) We also deeply appreciate donations to pay for speaker fees and ongoing organizational costs. Be recognized as an event sponsor by pitching in $100 or more!

There's still time to vote for your favorite Secular Invocation!

In 2016, openly atheist Representative Juan Mendez (D-26) delivered an opening prayer in the State House that did not reference a higher power. Shortly after, a Christian lawmaker arranged for a retaliatory religious prayer in response.

As part of our fall fundraiser, we've asking for a vote on the most notable legislative invocations ever! Is this one your favorite? We're guessing not, but watch it anyway then vote for another one here!

Thank you for supporting secular government!
