Arizona State Senator Rick Gray embarrassed himself and the state of Arizona on May 25, 2022 by claiming that forced religion would be the solution to mass shootings.

So what do the facts say on that?

Data is emerging using verifiable sources comparing church attendance and gun violence. And they're showing that the higher the weekly church attendance, the higher the firearm mortality rates. So Senator Gray’s admonition would result in more firearm deaths, not less.

The findings don't stop there. Violent crime rates are lower in more secular nations and more secular states compared to religious ones. In fact, the safest cities in the world are nearly all in nonreligious countries or US regions.

Our Legal Director Dianne Post has compiled these findings and more in a scathing op-ed you'll want to read immediately... and share about as much as you can.
