The Secular Humanist Jewish Circle invites you to a talk by Paul Golin, Executive Director of the Society for Humanistic Judaism: Are Jews Still Protected By America’s “Religious Freedom?”

Christian nationalists do not represent all Christians, not even a majority, yet they are currently entrenched on the Supreme Court and in state and local governments. Where does that leave Americans of other or no religions, including American Jewry?

The talk is free and open to the public.  Please bring a snack to share (but no meat, poultry, or shellfish).

Election is Tuesday

This Tuesday is election day. Here are the crucial details on how to vote at this stage:

• If you still have a mail ballot, it's too late to mail it. Drop it off at a ballot drop box, at your recorder's office, or at any polling place Tuesday. (You can skip the lines.)
• Early voting sites are now closed. If you don't vote early, go to your polling place Tuesday.
• Emergency voting centers are open through Nov. 7th if you can't make it on Tuesday. Contact your county recorder's office for details.
