With just three weeks until the deadline to turn in signatures for Save Our Schools’ voucher expansion referendum, school vouchers are exploding on the news.

The State Department of Education just revealed that of the 6,500 families that have rushed to apply for vouchers, about 3/4 of them are already sending their kids to private or religious schools.

Meanwhile, religious schools in other states are getting new press for banning LGBTQ+ kids from their campuses-- a policy shared by voucher-supported religious schools in Arizona.

SOSAZ has numerous events happening now giving you an opportunity to defeat the voucher expansion:

  • Signing events: SOS is still hosting tons of petition signing events across the state. Click above for a comprehensive list on their Facebook page.
  • Phone Banks: Every Tuesday at 6pm until the election, SOSAZ is calling friendly voters statewide. Click above to register for their sessions by Zoom!
  • Bring ‘em Back Bash Sept 1st-Sept 5th: Are you carrying petitions? SOSAZ needs them back ASAP! Click above to find drop-off locations statewide.

They lost. Here's why.
