Vote expected next week on teacher censorship

We sent a letter May 2nd with other local civil rights organizations to oppose HB2310, a bill coming up for a final vote in the State House which would criminalize educators and increase educational censorship. 

Co-signers included GLSEN Arizona, ACLU of Arizona, Arizona Trans Youth and Parent Organization, Affirm Sexual and Reproductive Health, Family Planning Associates Medical Group, Planned Parenthood Advocates of Arizona, Chandler Pride, Arizona Coalition to End Sexual and Domestic Violence, Progress Arizona, and Women’s Foundation for the State of Arizona. 

 

Bullhead City Pride

Secular AZ will be tabling at Bullhead City Pride, happening June 8th 12 PM to 8 PM! We're excited at this opportunity to meet more like-minded people in Northern Arizona. 

 

Drag story hour creates political cover for Republicans

Democrats in the State House have been banned from using the building’s conference rooms because they used one for a “Drag Story Hour” with Planned Parenthood.
