Friends, The Supreme Court made four major rulings in June that will significantly reshape our country. Separation of church and state in schools is on track to be vastly eroded. Anyone capable of carrying a child will become a second-class citizen in several states. And radicalized Americans will be more freely armed. We know it's a lot to keep track of, so we put together a quick summary here of the major points you'll want to understand. There is still a lot we can—and must—do about all this. A citizen's initiative is circulating now to turn reproductive rights over to voters. And legislative seats are up for election that will determine how many of the Supreme Court's decisions will impact Arizona. Ballots will be mailed next week for the August 2nd state primaries. Arizonans who want to vote in this election have until Monday, July 6, to make sure they are registered. (And yes, independents can participate.) Learn more on how to register and vote here. |
